Family business to grow further under new umbrella
Vetipak and ECM Europe are to continue under the Vetico banner. Within the organizational structure, this new holding will occupy a position above the two companies initially, with others besides the co-packer and medical manufacturer to be added later. The establishment of Vetico is intended to facilitate the further growth of the family business.
Starting from 1 June, Vetipak and ECM Europe will be operating as Vetico companies. Supported by shared services and far-reaching innovations provided by Vetico, the companies will be able to focus even better on their core business. Vetipak and ECM entered into a partnership earlier this year.
Vetico itself is coming onto the market as a strategic partner in the outsourcing of production, assembly and packaging services. This is currently underway in the food and care segments (under Vetipak) and the medical segment (under ECM). Additional segments are expected to be added in the near future.
On the way to a future-proof company
Arno van de Ven, Vetico’s Chief Executive Officer, says that the establishment of the Vetico umbrella is a logical step towards creating a future-proof company. “We have solid growth ambitions to guarantee continuity for all of our stakeholders. We want to achieve these growth ambitions by expanding our portfolio, and the cooperation with ECM Europe is an example of this.”
“However, we will also be developing by means of the independent growth of our ‘Expertise Centers’ – the name we give our companies,” continues Van de Ven. “As Vetico, we facilitate that progress by investing heavily in governance, IT and talent development. And by means of our Vetico Innovation Center, we will be focusing more than ever on innovations.”
Beneficial effects for customers and employees
According to Van de Ven, the new organizational structure will have only beneficial effects. “Customers will receive the best of two worlds,” explains the CEO. “They will benefit from the power of a strong partner, as well as the speed, flexibility and warmth that our Expertise Centers offer.”
“Employees will soon have extra career opportunities within our organization, particularly if more Vetico companies are added. Another important point is that we can enhance our impact on society, which is the kind of difference we would like to make as a family business.

Top brands, private labels and OEMs for which the Vetico companies work all have a successful product and know exactly how to reach their target audience. When it comes to co-manufacturing and co-packing, Vetico is the specialist.
